South Forsyth girls’ lacrosse team was in control of most facets of the game. They had the advantage in possession. They were out-shooting county and Area 3-AAAAAA rival North Forsyth. They were thwarting penalty shot opportunities.
But the Lady War Eagles were losing control of the scoreboard. A six-goal lead shrunk to four by halftime which shrunk to three just minutes into the second half.
“I think we started off just not playing aggressive, not playing intense,” South head coach Mary Williams said. “We realized that North’s a good team and that they were keeping up with us. We were going to have to step it up to our A game to finish it off.” READ FULL ARTICLE

We are fully dedicated to making this a great summer experience for all of the boys and one that we will build on each summer. The Pride Lacrosse Program was created to build the South Forsyth High School and Youth Lacrosse programs by keeping players together during the summer and fall seasons. It’s extremely important to our long term success that we play together as a team and that we have the same goals and objectives for the boys at all ages so that they reap the benefits of playing together. We think this is a bit unique for South Forsyth lacrosse and driving successful change is never easy, but we know that for the real success we seek, it requires this type of focused dedication. Our hope is that you partner with us in this goal!
In loving memory of Nicole Garrish (1989-2012)
